Our Objectives

When we help individuals, we focus our services on 9 concrete objectives. These goals ensure that we remain focused on providing individuals with the most meaningful assistance and support possible. Our objectives are as follows:

  1. To serve people with a lived experience with support services to facilitate their reintegration into the community.
  2. To provide support services to individuals, their families, friends, and co-workers. This is rooted in the foundation of recovery.
  3. To provide recovery-oriented services in a safe environment that provides opportunity for social interaction and group participation.
  4. To offer other services including a daily lunch and special meals on festive and commonly celebrated occasions.
  5. To enhance social daily living skills and encourage participation in cooking, cleaning and general maintenance.
  6. To implement guidelines for members that outline a standard of behaviour.
  7. To act as a liaison between the members and the community in the promotion of mental health and well being.
  8. To provide referral services to fitting mental health organizations and community services within the area.
  9. To promote peer support that encourages wellness, social inclusion, acceptance and choice.

We also have specialized programs that offer our members socialization, education, self-development and more. Contact us today to learn more about what we offer. You’re also welcome to stop by any of our centres in Manitoba.
