Our Objectives
When we help individuals, we focus our services on 9 concrete objectives. These goals ensure that we remain focused on providing individuals with the most meaningful assistance and support possible. Our objectives are as follows:
-
To serve people with a lived experience with support services to facilitate their reintegration into the community.
-
To provide support services to individuals, their families, friends, and co-workers. This is rooted in the foundation of recovery.
-
To provide recovery-oriented services in a safe environment that provides opportunity for social interaction and group participation.
-
To offer other services including a daily lunch and special meals on festive and commonly celebrated occasions.
-
To enhance social daily living skills and encourage participation in cooking, cleaning and general maintenance.
-
To implement guidelines for members that outline a standard of behaviour.
-
To act as a liaison between the members and the community in the promotion of mental health and well being.
-
To provide referral services to fitting mental health organizations and community services within the area.
-
To promote peer support that encourages wellness, social inclusion, acceptance and choice.
